CKO Clifton offers personal training; whether you want a one-on-one workout or group training with friends / teammates / co-workers, we have the program for you!
ONE ON ONE TRAINING
1. Pad Technique Training
This is a 45 minute kickboxing session which puts you one on one with our trainer. Instead of hitting the heavy bag as you would in class, the trainer will be fielding your strikes, with the skill and equipment necessary to provide a safe and efficient workout. There are 2 major benefits of Pad Technique Training. First, since nobody else working out as in class, you are the sole focus of the trainer. They are directly exposed to your habits and technique and can give you proper tips and pointers to improve. Also, the body motions needed to perform the strikes used in class are slightly increased with hitting the trainer, as they are more mobile than the stationary bag used in class. This not only gives you a more intense workout, but also a more accurate simulation of being in a fight.
2. High Intensity Weight Training
Lifting weights, in addition to kickboxing classes, is a great way to speed up the process of toning muscles and increasing strength. CKO has designed a routine that works your entire body in just 20 minutes! And since CKO Clifton and its members have access to the full scale Olympus Gym located in the same facility, we have a wide range of exercise machines to help you maximize an alternative workout to kickboxing classes. This session includes use of elastic resistance bands and the available training equipment to give your muscles the burn you're looking for!
3. Mixed Training Sessions
Our most intense training offered! This package consists of the best of the aforementioned training sessions. The trainer will guide you through our 20 minute weight training routine, followed by 25 minutes of one on one kickboxing training, pitting you against our trainer who is equipped with the proper equipment and skill to give you a safe yet very challenging workout! Get the best of both worlds; increase strength and muscle tone via Weight Training, then burn the fat and relieve stress in Pad Technique training!
SMALL/LARGE GROUP TRAINING
Want to bring friends to personal train? CKO Clifton offers Small (2-4 clients) & Large (5 or more clients) Group training; an intense 45 minute kickboxing workout! This training session includes all of our high intensity drills used in class PLUS our Pad Technique drills in which one or multiple clients are striking our trainer, who is wearing proper defense equipment to prevent injury to both himself and the client(s), circuit training and strength drills, and also specially designed partner drills, in which clients are interacting together and getting a great workout at the same time!
